Dang RINO!
Good morning AB, and everyone. Congratulations to everyone for last week.
Happy New Year 2007? Or, I'm glad 2006 is over. I'm not sure which one applies more.
Lugar on Fox News? Ugh.
:-) Better New Year?
Yes thats right folks; its stampede time!
Will it be at the counterclockwise walk around the rock to turn back time? Will it be at the symbolic stoning ritual where all good Muslims throw rocks at a pillar representing women? Maybe the Wahabbi wing of the Sunni Muslims that run Saudi Arabia will open fire on the Shiites if they get uppity like in '87. Well just have to wait and see.
HAJJ DISASTERS
2006: 345 die in a crush during a stone-throwing ritual
2004: 251 trampled to death in stampede
2003: 14 are crushed to death
2001: 35 die in stampede
1998: At least 118 trampled to death
1997: 343 pilgrims die and 1,500 injured in fire
1994: 270 killed in stampede
1990: 1,426 pilgrims killed in tunnel leading to holy sites (crushed? Stampeded? Trampled?)
1987: 400 die as Saudi authorities confront pro-Iranian demonstration
Cute!
More likely that the b and n keys are right up against each other, but your answer is better, literally!

Happy New Year, Alas.
Since my day begins with Lugar and Vilsack, I may fall asleep with my head on the keyboard.
