Oh, I suppose it's the new evangelicalism only now it's government that is going to do everything that people might otherwise do out of the goodness of their hearts. That college thing in particular gets to me. There are people, lots of them, who are not capable of "college level" work. The libs, knowing this, simply worked over the past few decades to dumb down the curriculum. But some are just too incapable even with virtually useless course work.
This notion that EVERYONE should have a college education is nonsense.
Sorry, make that sleazy trial LAWYER...
Well...I surely won't be a bit surprised to hear Mary Landrieu take advantage of Edwards' campaign points about NO, to come to the Senate within the first week and demand more money...
I'll just bet he wanted to move on after Lieberman started talking sense.
He went on to say they may not be up to anything with all the mosques, but who knows, since no one is paying attention and we all know the mosques are where so much radicalism takes place and can take place out of the public view.
I think one reason this grabbed me is because of the controversy right now in Katy Texas about a mosque, training school, etc., being built and the residents don't want it.. that, alone, is a long story few are covering, though NPR did have a story a week ago on it.
Please, please, please be right about this.
Mary Landrieu has been demanding money and more money since the first day the hurricane struck, even before we knew just how bad it was.
don't forget her brother ran for Mayor again Nagin and lost
I have heard quite a few dem politicians and candidates that have campaigned on the idea of having fully paid for college educations for the poor...not just Edwards.
Neither one of my children have a college education...they chose not to go...
My son went to a different type of school, and now manages a flight school..owns his own plane...and is doing quite well at 27.
My daughter went to work as a receptionist at a title company and has now worked herself up to escrow assistant and closer...and is making very good money.
If THEY can do it without a government paid college education....so can anyone else.
Besides, from what I have seen about the professors in these colleges and universities, I wouldn't WANT my children getting their education there...and I certainly wouldn't want my MONEY to pay for it..(although it does, in taxes, darn it)
Because the "me" folks all want more welfare, they don't want jobs.
No. I'll go back and dig it up.
Did you finally see Newswatch?
That's always the first clue;;;;
Blitzer: I want to move on.....
You are so right. When a guest starts making sense, CNN and their ilk do NOT want anyone to hear sensible debate.
You have noticed, I'm sure, that the idiot on the afternoon show with Blitz, Cafferty I think is his name, always gets as much time as he wants to spew his drivel slamming the Bush administration?
I think thats a pretty good assumption. Even the average dolt will be questioning why The View, CNN, and the rest of the DNC propagana machine, never ask any tough questions and why she has no past, why no one mentions her husband, what happened to Hillary care, just why did Billy Dale get prosecuted....etc...
And there is nobody better to deliver on that than a sleazy, "something for nothing" trial lawyer..
Glad you posted that...I didn't stay up long enough to see that...
Every once in awhile, Cal Thomas will say something I agree with...
Maybe WE need to make that part of our new "talking points" along with all of the other things..to make SURE that our Congresscritters are aware of the problem...and see if any of them have the guts to deal with that problem.
One Congressman, Virgil Goode tried to...and has been excoriated by the MSM and any and all Muslim groups.
I was glad to see him lose, though sad to see they still have Nagin. Talk about the proverbial rock and hard place, like us having a choice between Hillary and McCain.
