Okay...tada....before it even gets posted on my Blog....presenting....
Pat Fish's political predictions fro 2007:
-Mitt Romney will be nominated as the GOP contender-2008-wait, does the actual nomination take place in 2007? I still say, whenever, that Mitt will get the nod.
-Mitt's VP cohort will be -RUDY! New York and all that.
-Hillary will step down and not accept the nomination for Prez-2008. Will save her face, look like she's doing it "for the chirrun". I predict that some Demo moderate will get the nod...Maybe that New Mexico guy, someone from the heartland. Won't be Obama Yo Mama as I predict it.
-There WILL be a terrorist attack in 2007 and the nation will finally coalesce and demand that Muslims cut it the hell out.
-There will be an assassination attempt on President Bush's life as the Islamofacists get so frustrated they do the stupid.
-Bill Clinton will finally be exposed for the traitor he is. All of his connections to Joe Wilson, the Sauds, the Arabs, etc, will capture the public's attention BIG TIME. Which is why Hillary will step down.
-The senate will change hands to the Republicans either via a death of a senator of hey, Joe Lieberman.
Okay, any other predictions? I double-dare ya. And I'm going to save this thread, see who gets it right.
OK, you can't leave us hanging like that. What was his fantastic answer? Paraphrasing would be just fine.
The Mormon/marriage is the least of the issues .. the other possible candidates (Though I like them) have too much baggage .. Roomey doesn't
Not say I've made up my mind about this election .. i am still open to hearing them all out
#94, It is a terrible thing to say, but I truly believe that the Media is almost totally on the side of our enemy. They cry for Killers, Rapists, Despots, but they do not cry for Republicans like Ronald Reagan, and they do not cry about innocent babies murdered by the multi millions over the decades since Roe V Wade was adjudicated. Why do Rats/DBM care about the Poor Murderer on Death Row, but care nothing about the Baby pulled mostly out of the Womb, then stabbed in the neck? I often wonder what goes through their minds, and who raised them to have such callous disregard for decency and innocence, and jump completely on the bandwagon of the scum of the earth.
IMO McCain is unstable as well as getting up in years. Gulliani is a likable guy, heroic in the NY terrorist strike, but also very liberal (and has a vocal ex-wife). Newt? Well, you know his baggage (plus sucking up to Hillary). Personally, I think he'd make a superb college professor...but not a President.
The short of it, and I wish I had DVR'd the show and captured the closed caption, but I did not, is this:
Joe said you DO NOT meet with people who are a threat to the region, send or support terrorists to kill our troops, support Iran and the destruction of Israel, lie to just say things they think you want to hear, and so forth.
IOW, you never talk to someone in good faith, knowing they are not talking in good faith. He really had old Snarlin Arlin sputtering.
There may be a transcript somewhere and I'll look for it.
Molly Henneberg subbing for Brian Wilson today...she is doing a great job, BTW.
She is reporting that 2 MORE bombs have gone off in Bangkok...
Ditto! When I flip through the channels and see the same old faces, I keep looking for something better. The same old voices get the same old result and the same freaken show....why watch one when you've seen the same show months ago.
Have they said who's doing them?
When I became aware that this was being done, I made it a point to listen to the hearings feeling sure that no one in the world would do such a thing but in a situation so dire for the mother's life that there were nothing but horrible choices. I listened very carefully to the testimony. There was NO medical justification for doing this. There is something very wrong with people who can support this.
That and he's the most hated man in the republican party
I have never seen a network(all jihadi watch all the time) so desperate for traction and so bent on rationalizing everything they do or don't do.
I guess they have figured out that we are on to them and they are not being seen in a very favorable light anymore. To say the very least.(their numbers probably tell them that as well!)
They are outraged that Saddam's hanging was done "only hours before a major moslem holiday" yet felt compelled to cover it since all their competitors would be.(a failed attempt at triangulation there?) They were also outraged at the grainy unedited version of the hanging making the rounds on the net by a cell phone who photoed it poorly. (could it be they just can't stand any competition at all, even from the poorest and meekest of the bunch?)
Anyway, woof, woof(without the benefit of higher platform shoes or more phone books to sit on) goes on rambling his l/w pap trying to get one of his third world spokesmen to poo poo the hanging but really getting no where.
Cnn gives the impression of a dying network in the throes of their death watch.
According to their website a transcript will be available later but they do not say how much later. Looks like they publish each week's transcript and have several available for past shows.
I'm going to keep track of this and will ping you when it's available. Should be a good read.
CNN Late Edition posts their transcript, usually by late Sunday or early Monday. They've also started putting up a video podcast of the show (link on the main show web page).
Thanks for the summary. I'll look for the transcript/podcast when they're posted.
Exactly!
