No. And again, there is a difference between being happy for the Iraqi people, and wanting to watch another human being die.

Does watching an old man's neck break make you feel even more "empathy" for the Iraqi's?

Of course I have empathy for his victims. But that does not translate into a valid reason to watch a man swing, any more than I needed to watch the torture videos that were Hussein's doing to understand the enemy.

Some of us choose to be witnesses to history so it will not be so easily white-washed, recast, distorted or forgotten.

Consider the WW2 memorial. It quotes FDR's declaration of war address yet cuts off "so help us God" at the end of the sentence. Consider all the "false but accurate" news which has gone around in recent years. Consider the Holocaust denier's conference in Iran recently...
