"So Jesus of Nazareth wasnt born and he didnt die in execution for being who he was....."Any more proof of those events than there is for Kwanzaa or for the existence of Zeus and his son Hercules or Odin and his son Thor?

I am still campaigning for MY holiday, "The Nine Nights of the Nordic Lights."
We will celebrate by eating Danish open-faced sandwiches and butter cookies while drinking copious amounts of beer. Saunas are optional.

God doesn't need to give you more proof, nor do we.
You are free to be an unbeliever.
The interesting question is why you are consumed with undermining others' belief.

Careful, don't piss off Kwanzaa-bot.
To: JohnHuang2
Kwanzaa: affirmative action applied to holidays.

The fool has said in his heart "There is no Gog." And the dyslexic atheist says "There is no Dog."

I am always mortified when I have a good comment and then make a stupid typo.
This is the Lord's way of teaching me humility. LOL!

Since I know of no creditable evidence that you exist, why should I not celebrate the birth of Jesus?

Regarding my holiday, I do not see why it isn't as valid. If I could convince the press that this was an old Norse pre-Christian holiday celebrated by the ocialist Swedes, I will bet you cash money it would be bigger than Kwanza.
Look at the marketing possibilities: food, beer, Aqvavit, herring, ski sweaters, Danish hams, Volvos....
Lots of money in MY holiday. Think of the advertising! And jobs for blonde models!
I think I will manufacture "principles" to go with it.

I could appreciate the non belief of an atheist if they would quit acting like there is a God by trying to get rid of something they claim does not exist.

It never ceases to amaze me how people like Coulter and Falwell insist on going out of their way to condemn something that should have absolutely no meaning to them, merely so they can rile up their followers. Don't like Kwanzaa? Fine. Don't observe it, don't honor it, don't do anything about it. Ignore it.

I am always amazed at why they care what we think. The carrying of the Gospel is motivated by wanting to save souls, and is therefore altruistic.
The effort to destroy others' faith is nihilistic and motivated by malice, in my opinion.
Can an atheist honestly say, "Hey come with me and believe in nothing. You will be SO much happier"?

Since I know of no creditable evidence that you exist, why should I not celebrate the birth of Jesus?Maybe I'm an AI who has passed the Turing test. Do I get to vote?
Go ahead and celebrate the birth of the mythical Jesus; just don't make it a holiday which shuts down government.
Hmmm.... maybe we need another 353 holidays to shut down government all year. Or maybe only 200 more since it is shut down on weekends anyway.

There is credible evidence that Moses was real. Tons of it... Moses wasn't a Christian. It is no coincidence Islamic pagans hate Israel, Jews, Christians and Western Civilization. The entire basis of Western Civilization is Mosaic Law, something both the Neo-Pagan Left and the pagan Islamic thugs cannot abide and wish to destroy. The very idea that human beings have individual rights not subject to the whims of an earthly monarch, but subject to the laws of Yahweh, is directly from Moses. Historically, this is proven over and over again with the successive conflicts between the forces of paganism and the Judaic culture. (This includes the idolatry of cultural Marxist paganism.)

Only that which has credible evidence of its reality.

I'm even more embarrased. I thought you had typed it correctly (that is, I thought maybe Gog was mentioned in Proverbs and I never realized it). LOL!
