Thank you President Bush, thank you our brave troops. Four years ago, people would have never imagined that one of the most brutal dictators in the world would be hanged.
It isn't really Saddam they admire .. it's what he represents: TOTAL POWER! It's what all liberals long for - complete and utter power over everybody. That's why they get so upset when they lose elections - they believe they're entitled to RULE!
Imagine what it was like for all the Iraqis to collectively breathe that long awaited sigh of relief.
The Iraqis invented the rule of law. Today, I was glad to see the favor returned.

I occasionally played Chinese chess with a student who loved Hitler. Thought he was wonderful. And it was the power aspect, the absolute control . . . a la that typical to a Chinese emporer.
His attitude was chilling. He was not very amenable to influence on it. I didn't play chess with him much, after that disclosure.

Indeed. Can you imagine what it's been like to live in that war torn arena never sure where to overtly show allegiances on the chance . . . not at all unfounded . . . that some twist of fate could leave him in power again! Sheesh.

In a lawlwess land it looks like nothing more than another act of terror. Sad.
Howevah (in the incessantly annoying tone of ESPN's Stephen A. Smith), it does serve as a clear reminder to our enemies that the USA inevitably does get it's man! Nice to see this one swing. To do it proper ME style, they need to hunt down every last one of his progeny as well. Just to be sure.
Fisk must have been watching Colmes on FOX - because Colmes kept making the same statement that WE created the monster that Saddam became.
What they admire is hit plot to assassinate George HW Bush and they wish he had suceeded.
For some unexplained reason Saddam's execution leaves me completely cold. The guy deserved hanging in my opinion and even worse, but his actions never affected me personally or the lives of my family.
A bigger concern to me are the people at CAIR who, in my opinion, pose a much more serious danger to my country and who live among us and whose actions are ignored or not taken seriously. They are potentially more dangerous to me than Saddam ever was. Recall the "Imams" who created that commotion in the airport and on the US Air flight. That was bigger news to me than Saddam's hanging.
And that the Arab community in Dearbornistan was delirious with joy because of Saddam's execution, also does not affect me - many of them will be just as delirious at the next terror attack on this country.
Saddam's execution was merely entertainment and gave the MSM folks some justification of their existence. But the alert notices we see on the TV screen were never meant to warn us about Saddam but about the faceless Muslims living among us.
The guy in the last picture sure got away with a lot of crap at our expense. I was never able to take the UN seriously.

Good points. The one part about the current 'Saddam-hanging' media frenzy that bothers me most is that it has totally knocked Gerrald Ford's funeral services and memorials out of the picture. Saddam's dead. Good. Where's the remote - - maybe I can find a 'Law and Order' rerun I haven't seen in a couple of months.
Just heard some 'hopeful' sounding libs saying that Saddam wasn't hanged, that it was a stuntman.
Some idiot even made a youtube video saying as much.

The left doesn't love the dictator .. what they love is what the dictator represents: COMPLETE POWER! The left actually envies the total power these people have accomplished.
