Saddam Video of Body after Hanging (New 1-8-07)

The Drop Broke Saddam's neck killing him instantly. At the executions following the Nuremberg Trials others were not so lucky.

THE TRIAL OF THE CENTURY--AND OF ALL TIME, PART TWO

"..The executions, in a brightly lighted prison gymnasium where three looming black wooden gallows had been erected, were witnessed by a handful of Allied military officers and eight journalists, one of whom, Kingsbury Smith of International News Service, wrote a famous newspaper article, "The Execution of Nazi War Criminals, 16 October 1946," based on his eyewitness observations. Although Smith discreetly omitted mentioning it, the experienced Army hangman, Master Sgt. John C. Woods, botched the executions. A number of the hanged Nazis died, not quickly from a broken neck as intended, but agonizingly from slow strangulation. Ribbentrop and Sauckel each took 14 minutes to choke to death, while Keitel, whose death was the most painful, struggled for 24 minutes at the end of the rope before expiring..."

Well, congratulations!! Sounds like a fine young man!

He is. Fastest runner in his company, too. Not a bad skill for a groundpounder to have, eh? ;-)

If you don't believe in conservatism

Why don't you link the post where I said that? I can wait while you find it and paste it right here.

Or do you mean YOU think I don't believe in conservatism because I don't agree with you?

That's what I'm betting. Unless, of course, you can back that up with a post. Like I said, I can wait while you look for one.

then why do you always hang out at a conservative web site?

Not to become repetitive, but I guess I have to since you don't seem to be able to grasp and retain facts, but I am a conservative; just not one willing to throw away the country.

Haven't you ever wondered why there are so many conservatives here, and why you're such a small minority?

Perhaps it is you who should look around and see how few of you who are willing to throw the country away there are.

BTW, I agree with THIS guy:

To: Carry_Okie

Well, there is the Republican party with some conservative members and some not so conservative and then there's the evil Marxist liberal socialist Democrat Party. I'd rather have a conservative Republican in office, but I'll take a not so conservative Republican over any evil Marxist liberal socialist Democrat any day of the week. And I might express my unhappiness with some of his policies but I think I've learned my lesson about irreversibly trashing the Republican office holder or the Republican base or the party itself (at least not too much trashing). As they say, the alternative is unthinkable.

You may have seen him around, but I doubt he got through to you.

We'll get the House and Senate back if we move to the right where we belong. I'm not worried.

Your sitting home assures we won't move to the right.

Nobody can trust you to keep your word.

Like I said, you've forced the GOP to go after moderates.

Now, that's what I've been trying to say. Know thine enemy and keep your eye on the ball! Don't sweat the small stuff.

On the way to the gallows, according to Ali, "Saddam said, ‘Iraq without me is nothing.’"

Once again, I'll repeat the fact that it is the "moderates" who most often swing to the Dems in elections, not conservatives.

Which is worse, some few conservatives sitting home in disgust, or, as the "moderates" so often do, actively campaigning for the RAT candidates?

Very Hitleresque.

Saddam couldn't even be original! That bit about "WITHOUT ME, IRAQ IS NOTHING", is pretty close to the original Louis the VI quote. LOL

I thought maybe a good debate would help pull you out of your PMS

Your comments bely what you state are your intentions, FRiend.

Maybe it reads that way. Howlin is having a bad night. She's after any one who's conservative (which means almost every member here). Maybe it's the death of Saddam that's got her going? Maybe it's because it helps Bush? That doesn't sound right. So, maybe it's PMS. I thought I'd play along and debate so she'd get it out of her system what ever it is. I don't have to agree with her to help her out, you know.

If she's raging tonight, isn't it better she take it out on her key board than on, say, her husband or something?

Anyway, I'm done. I'm still a conservative/conservative no matter what, and maybe Howlin is winding down by now. Her husband or her dog won't be her target tonight, right? It'll be me.
I'm going to get some shut eye. It's been a good day.

And once again I'll ask you what ever made you think anybody puts any credence in your words on subjects like this?

Aren't you READING this thread? We're all conservatives here; some of us just aren't willing to turn the country over to the Democrats. Some of you are.

Like you keep saying, we're all got our principles; why don't you tell me and Jim Robinson that we don't have any because we support Republicans?

YES, according to the linked article, it's a direct quote that was heard by the man who filmed his hanging.
