As long as Saddam was still alive, many Iraqis were still living in fear that eventually he could return to power and take revenge. With him gone, it will be interesting to see their reaction, now that the fear will be gone.

This is a dangerous mix - freedom from revenge for one sect, desire for revenge for another. Add the Hajj, New Year's celebrations and games, high profile funerals. Dangerous times.
