Pretty much. How does a white supremacist end up best friends with a guy who has a Filipina wife? The same way an anti-gay pastor can end up buying speed from a homosexual hustler. When people look for someone to "use", they generally aren't picky. I don't dismiss the possibility of an Islamic connection somewhere in the mix, but that McVeigh planned the attack, and executed it is not in question. He was nailed dead to rights.

Haggard was not as anti gay as you may think. In fact he called for civil unions for homosexual couples. He was also part of the evangelical initiative concerned about "global warming"
I would place him in the left wing of the evangelical political spectrum.
