"They spent their time playing lottery games or watching sports on television," the judge noted. "They also played Ping Pong and golf and sat around the house drinking beer and eating pizza."

The good life. Don't worry, the story does have a stripper.

"It is true, they won but to say they won because they had a system has no basis in the evidence at all," Judge Bowman said in his ruling.

As far as I can see, the presence or absence of a system is immaterial. If gambling winnings are "tax free", how can the feds claim that gambling-with-a-system winnings are taxable?

At least the Canadian government was just trying to steal some of their money. In the US, EX-congressman Leach would probably prefer to stuff them into a prison cell AND steal all of their money.

I'm sure their tax code doesn't say "Gambling winnings are tax free unless you're good at it.", which is what the US code effectively says (losses are deductible as long as they're LESS than winnings).

>>>Don't worry, the story does have a stripper.<<<

Josee the Stripper was "showered" with an $850.00 engagement ring and 2K breast implants(you can just imagine).

Forget the court ruling. Forget Brian and Terry.
BOB AND DOUG MCKENZIE ARE ALIVE AND WELL!!!

What at wonderfully touching story. These guys are my heroes. Too bad John Candy isn’t around to play one of them along with Rick Moranis in the Movie.
