Why is a ball that hits the foul pole a home run?

And what do expletive spewing non bathing people from Poland have to do with baseball anyway?

The Painful Ordeal of Tokyo Rose

Most interesting story. Passions were high after the war. President Ford showed admirable mercy in pardoning an elderly woman.

George Takei is gay...

Well, this explains why he seems so happy with those crappy sky blue uniforms of Star Trek I.

"Thrusters on full, Mr Sulu". "Yes Captain!"

Before I start, nice tag line!

I read most of that linked document. Seems to me she was still guilty of some collaboration....

Having said that, let's talk about some modern treason: like the NY Slimes, etc. Doesn't it just chap you when you see that rag in it's holier-than-thou newstand inside of Starbucks? I usually avoid Starbucks, but the wife and kids like their stuff......with the leftist motivation as it is..

I don't know.

The thing was that there wasn't just ONE person posing at Tokyo Rose.

They used quite a few different women to do it, some unwillingly.

This woman was convicted on highly suspect testimony.

It is a long story, but the woman convicted of being "Tokyo Rose" was innocent. The case was lodged against her based on a false newspaper article, perjured testimony, and a bad faith prosecution. The pardon was a credit to Ford.

...only collaborated with the Japanese to the extent that it allowed her to help US POW's,...

What you stated could be said of Jon Cary, too.

The difference is that Kerry's actions weren't at the point of a gun.

"Tokyo Rose" can at least say that she was press-gang-ed into Japanese service.

George Takei is homosexual.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."
