Because he has been reading the leftist blog sites and he's right. From what I have been reading GORE is the favorite among all Democrats. But OBama would win the Democrat nomination because he can get some Independent votes which Gore cannot. Gore swings too far to the left and is open about it. Obama is a phoney and acts like he's a moderate when he is a socialist.

I know. Why so many rotten choices? I could probably get excited about Brownback or Keating, but everyone keeps pushing the other guys.

Oh...and Al Gore has no chance of winning his party's nomination. It will be Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama.

Doesn't it seem like he contradicts himself in this article? First he says it will be between Gore & McCain & then at the end of the article he says Obama will win.

Looks like I'm voting third party. Liberal vs. RINO. What a choice.

Calvin Coolidge was a great president. What percentage of the general population would even know the name? The NEA has done its job.

OK, apparently I have lost my reading comprehension skills. Someone please reconsile these two statements for me.

Halfway through the article Williams predicts :
So, the way I see it, in November 2008, you will have a choice of John McCain or Al Gore as the next U.S. president.

THen at the end he says:
However, assuming nothing drastic occurs, I will cast my vote for Rudy Giuliani. But I believe the Democratic charge will not let up and Barack Obama will be our 44th president.

I am sorry but these two statements completely contradict each other. IF MCCAIN and GORE are the nominees, then how in the hell can Williams vote for Guiliani, and how in the hell can Obama be the next President?????

I think bubba will find a way to destroy Obama. I don't know if he is in those fbi files, but things will eek out about Osama Obama when they have to. And the msm will be there to spread the word.

You made an answer but did not answer the question. How does Gore win the nomination and O'Bama the election? Will 51% of voters write in O'Bama's name?

Probably because Brownback, Hunter, Keating and the others don't have a chance if you think about it. They are unknowns and are known only to people who follow politics. Most Americans DO NOT follow politics like Freepers do and tend to vote for well-known politicians. Even George Bush in 2000 was well known because of his last name and also the Texas Rangers.

I read this carefully for any special insights into the race, and I didn't see any at all. Highly superficial analysis. McCain has a conservative base that he sometimes offends? Obama is one of the world's most influential people? In a pig's eye.

The Northeast Liberal Elite would just as soon have Obama clean their golf shoes then endorse him to be the Democrat Presidential nominee. Same with Hillary.

You nailed it there, Andy.

There are no worse racist/sexists than NE liberal elites. They talk, but they'll never give either of these people power.

It will be Gore vs Giuliani. Giuliani wins. just barely.

Obama will run in 2012. He is simply too inexperienced and cannot handle the Big Show yet.

Yeah. If I was Barack Obama, I'd be real careful about flying on planes. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he gets too popular, that he might be involved in a nasty accident!

Actually, it will more likely be an ARKANCIDE. A destroyed Obama does nothing for them -- a "martyred Obama" becomes a symbol for Dems to rally around as Hillary "runs in Obama's memory and to fulfill his hopes and dreams for this great nation *wipe tear*"
