Cindy Sheehan Blames Gerald Ford for Iraq War, "Deaths of over 3000 American soldiers"
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 | Kristinn

On the occasion of the death of President Gerald Ford, anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan released a statement today blaming Ford for the war in Iraq and the "deaths of over 3000 American soldiers" in the conflict.

Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in 2004, wrote about Ford on BuzzFlash.com, a leftist website.

Sheehan has become the face of the antiwar movement since she started stalking President Bush at his Crawford, Texas ranch in August, 2005. She is currently in Crawford, as is President Bush.

After writing the obligatory condolences on his passing, Sheehan ripped in to Ford:

Usually, burying a 93 year old loved one is sorrowful but, I believe his pardon of Richard Nixon is one of the factors that have led to the untimely deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East. Just this month alone, 91 of our young people have met early, avoidable, unnecessary and tragic deaths in Bloody George's horrific war. In a month when most people picked out Christmas trees and had joy-filled celebrations in the season of lights, 91 of our nation's families went shopping for burial plots or urns and their holidays will never be the same again.

One of the talking heads on one of the cable news shows (does it matter which?) said that it was a "great thing for America" that Gerald Ford pardoned the crooked war criminal, Richard Nixon. He said that we don't make public spectacles out of trying our presidents in criminal courts. After all, we are not a "banana republic."

No, the United States of America is not a "banana republic" Mr. Talking Head, but since Nixon got away with his blatant crimes and every President since Nixon has skated away from office after having committed overt and covert crimes, we have on our hands, here, a situation that I am forced now to call: "Bloody George."

Bloody George struts around in a cloud of denial with his fake cowboy swagger, breaking our nation's laws and international laws as if he were immune from life's woes and above any law. What Mr. Talking Head was pointing out to us in his ridiculous commentary was that presidents are above the law that they swear to uphold. Presidents of other countries who are found guilty of murdering 148 people are not apparently above the law -- Bloody George plays banana republic justice in other countries while countenancing none of the same here in the U.S. of A.

Cindy Sheehan has long since passed in to buffoon status, but her dogged stalking of President Bush and her alliance with terrorist supporting leftists here in America and around the world makes her worth keeping an eye on. That and her fantasies of killing President Bush.

She should just join Fred Phelps and get it over with. I fail to see any great difference in the behavior.

Okay...that is totally screwy.

It is one thing for her idiocy re: Pres. Bush to distort what he has done.

But to write that Saddam ONLY killed 148 people is just plain WRONG...LOL

Has she lost every marble that God gave her?? She really needs help.

This is so ridiculous, it does not even warrant feedback. Cindy, sit down, shut up, and stop all of your hateful rhetoric about George W Bush. The entire congress voted for this war, real Americans are supportive of it, and even the soldiers that put their life on the line each day know that it is the right thing to do.

Cindy, You're hatred is going to eat you up alive. You are already losing your sanity.

She truly is despicable. She has not a bit of class and clearly has some mental issues. In the beginning of her rantings, I held a little empathy for her, but now ... God bless, Howlin, and Happy New Year to all.

We'll probably hear from her again when they hang Saddam blaming everything he did on Bush.

Is this a parody? . . .

In a later panegyric on her Web site, Mrs. Sheehan blamed George Washington for the Vietnam War, and Adam and Eve for the invention of plastic.

ALERT, ALERT! Calling Scott Ott, The Onion, IowaHawk! Your livelihood is in danger!

I choose to pity her, mostly 'cause hating her was getting me nowhere.

Forget the pity. Despising and loathing her take much less effort than hating her and are just as satisfying. :=)

I'm not much for women fighting, but I think if I ran into her, I might punch her just on general principle.

I bet it would feel REALLY good just to smack the chit out of her.

And we have John Kerry to thank for calling her and giving this POS a voice in the 2004 election

"IF anything she should be blaming Jimmy Carter for kicking out the Shaw of Iran and starting Islamic terrorism."

Islamic terrorism started long before Jimmy Carter. Carter just gave them their first oil rich country to work out of.
