On the occasion of the death of President Gerald Ford, anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan released a statement today blaming Ford for the war in Iraq and the "deaths of over 3000 American soldiers" in the conflict.
Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in 2004, wrote about Ford on BuzzFlash.com, a leftist website.
Sheehan has become the face of the antiwar movement since she started stalking President Bush at his Crawford, Texas ranch in August, 2005. She is currently in Crawford, as is President Bush.
After writing the obligatory condolences on his passing, Sheehan ripped in to Ford:
Usually, burying a 93 year old loved one is sorrowful but, I believe his pardon of Richard Nixon is one of the factors that have led to the untimely deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East. Just this month alone, 91 of our young people have met early, avoidable, unnecessary and tragic deaths in Bloody George's horrific war. In a month when most people picked out Christmas trees and had joy-filled celebrations in the season of lights, 91 of our nation's families went shopping for burial plots or urns and their holidays will never be the same again.
One of the talking heads on one of the cable news shows (does it matter which?) said that it was a "great thing for America" that Gerald Ford pardoned the crooked war criminal, Richard Nixon. He said that we don't make public spectacles out of trying our presidents in criminal courts. After all, we are not a "banana republic."
No, the United States of America is not a "banana republic" Mr. Talking Head, but since Nixon got away with his blatant crimes and every President since Nixon has skated away from office after having committed overt and covert crimes, we have on our hands, here, a situation that I am forced now to call: "Bloody George."
Bloody George struts around in a cloud of denial with his fake cowboy swagger, breaking our nation's laws and international laws as if he were immune from life's woes and above any law. What Mr. Talking Head was pointing out to us in his ridiculous commentary was that presidents are above the law that they swear to uphold. Presidents of other countries who are found guilty of murdering 148 people are not apparently above the law -- Bloody George plays banana republic justice in other countries while countenancing none of the same here in the U.S. of A.
Cindy Sheehan has long since passed in to buffoon status, but her dogged stalking of President Bush and her alliance with terrorist supporting leftists here in America and around the world makes her worth keeping an eye on. That and her fantasies of killing President Bush.

For lack of anything else worth watching on the tube last night, I ended up watching the cute kiddie tale "Miranda" and just now made the connection that the She-ham is, in fact, THE TRUNCHBULL!!!!

Cindy isn't alone, and those of us who remember Ford's presidency should recognize her: the bony, screeching twenty-something witches who acted as if they would die TOMORROW if they didn't get their United States of Socialism benefits handed to them, and God help you if you actually treated them like *women*, after all the ERA was in the air, don'tcha know. They were always fighting for something, always at the tops of their lungs: fighting for equal rights, fighting for the end of the war (ironic, no?), fighting for the inner cities (and they didn't even live there!), fighting for their right to abort, fighting for the right to toke up whenever and wherever they wished, fighting to break through that glass ceiling, blah, blah, blah. They could have given banshees lessons in 1975 and Cindy is just one example of someone who never left. Don't think for a second that she's alone, she's only the loudest. The fact that we're hearing anything she says means that someone is listening to her.
As a side note, I wonder if she's paid any taxes on all the support she's received from her fans over the last three years. That's taxable, you know.

I don't really understand the anger a lot of people have for that word. But, since there is, here is a funny story about it.
Poker player Dave Ulliott, known as "The Devilfish" was seated at his table waiting for the start of the tournament. He was telling a story to the player next to him and it involved the "F word" (since we are shortening words to a single letter). Now, in many poker tournaments, you will get sent to the rail for 20 minutes if you use the F-word. The dealer (a women) notified a tournament offical of Dave's breach and Dave protested the tournament hadn't started. The offical told him it had, but let it slide and warned him. Dave then asked the offical if the C word is banned. The C word he asked. Dave repated, is the C word banned? The offical said no. So Dave turned to the dealer and said, "You're a C**t!"
The woman is a total idiot...she might have as well blamed JFK or Truman for involving the US in the far east. Better give some blame to FDR too as he started military intervention in Europe during WW-II and of course Woodrow Wilson as it was WW-I that started intervention in the Middle East.
