Having spent 8 years in the Xlinton military, I'm surprised that some troops weren't forced to sit with him for the photo op, and that some weren't forced to "ask" him questions written on 3 x 5 cards.

Funny I thought the same thing. I really can't believe that the senior officers didn't eat crow and just sit there. However, the Commander in Chief is much different than a Senator. I think the office of President should be respected and made to look popular. A senator is on their own as far as I am concerned.

Isn't that what happened with Hillary? Wasn't there a photo running around with one of soldiers giving a under duress sign as he shook her hand too.

We should really round up those unique photos for use in '08.
