Just Damn!
I was REALLY hoping he would outlive Klintoon.
How soon till we can buy his stamps, I'm pretty sure the Reagan stamps will not be sold next year.

CNN and FOX? I'm watching two dogs hump on the National Geographic Channel. Obviously you guys are missing some important programming.
If I wanted to watch two dogs hump i'd watch Chris Mathews on Hardball.

I think you are dead on - and it looks like some of the adults noticed what was going on - the "set" typos in the graphics are getting corrected, at least on FNC.

"We will always have the fun memories of his exploits on the golf course."
He accepted an invitation to participate in the opening ceremonies of the World Golf Hall of Fame while he was still VP.
It opened in September just after President Nixon resigned, and they expected him to send his regrets at not being able to make it.
It's an indication of his character that he not only showed up, but played nine holes with Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and then-PGA Commissioner Deane Beman - and outdrove all but Nicklaus off the first tee!

That kind of behavior is just scandalous. I can't even read the statement (and every other word out of her mouth for the past eon) without growing very upset that she is diminishing President Reagan's name.

I can only imagine that, seeing Ronald Reagan slowly deteroriate like that, its on her mind constantly - its what she thinks about, day after day. so when she does have an opportunity to make a public comment about something, she always links in the idea of "cures and treatments".

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.(Lead me home!)
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When Nixon ran in '68 I was in 7th grade and our assignment was to make campaign posters...mine was cool. I have a Nixon/Agnew campaign button that is my mother's!
(Thanks, I had just learned to post pictures, so I went gung-ho!)

OUCH - My husband thinks they should have Tiki Barber (football - NY Giants) standing in for breaking news stories because he delivers news early in the morning sharp & quick & smart.

I believe Carter took over in 1977. I was not into politics much when I was young.

Hey I'll second that opinion. Tiki can't start on FNC soon enough.
