What disparaging comments are you talking about? Unless you mistakenly posted to me.

Too bad you won't be able to see Michigan stomp USC in the Rose Bowl.

He'll be watching the game with Bo.

"He was a class act and played a good game of golf."

He, Bing and Bob will be looking for a fourth at the first tee tomorrow morning.

And after the round, he can start haunting Chevy Chase...

The 1976 convention was a memorable one. The last one with suspense.

Reagan and Ford really tore each other up during the 76 campaign. Hell of a year in politics.

All Presidents should have state funerals IMO.

RIP President Gerald R. Ford - your service was courageous and sound.

now, I'm sure we'll get to rehash Watergate in depth for the next weeks. ::: sigh :::

the services should be interesting in contrast to President Reagan's services. I'll not comment about peanut man on this thread...

I was just thinking of those pictures. I'm glad that President Bush took the time to meet with him. I'm sure that meant a great deal to the Ford family.

RIP, President Ford was a decent man who got our nation through one of its toughest times. He showed honesty and decency were not completly gone from American politics.

Ford went after RR about being prematurely orange as I recall.

I still wonder if Ford had beaten Carter in 76, would Reagan ever have gotten to be President. I think losing to Carter, made the GOP more open to accepting Reagan as their standard bearer.
