Many of us have gone before you, knowing exactly how you're feeling now. I agree with you Lisa that its indeed selfish and indeed hard to let go. I lost my mom a long time ago suddenly. I recall negotiating and banging my head agaisnt the hospital walls to make my own pain stop before she died. All you can do is pray for strength right now so you can be there for your own children and grandchildren. Give yourself a huge hug sweetie.
