Well they'll have to get in line, behind our Supreme Court, our Congress, and our President.
Thanks for the post. The supremacy clause of the Constitution means that any foreign treaty can trump Constitutional guarantees. It was easy to forget this under a Republican Senate and President, but will soon rear its ugly head. Most Americans don't realize this, an it will take some time to communicate this effectively.
"You're fired!"
It will happen here over my dead body. The silence of the silent majority will only take so much.
I think you left out their aim to trum the Second Ammendment as well.
Filibuster? Maybe but at some real point in the future our sovereignty will only be upheld by our Second amendment. This is my opinion I don't see any other way.
Although I'm not a big George Bush cheerleader,he did give the middle finger to the Bill Clinton signed Kyoto treaty thay would have screwed us royally, but the morons in this country will probably give us another Clinton or Obama in the White House to screw us again !!!
The author does understand Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution?
He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;I don't see her doom and gloom scenario happening anytime soon if at all.
Treaties are to be considered the equivalent of any law passed by Congress, but they never trump the Constitution.
But what do you expect from World Nut Daily?

So it starts with the election of a majority of liberals...
An amnesty for those who would keep them here who are here illegally for now...
A project (Trans-Texas Corridor) to grab private property for a right-of-way that will be built and profited on by a foriegn country...
Treaties which will remove its citizens right to fight back for this intrusion...
And now a clear path for the complete destruction of a soveriegn nation that everyone is envious of...
hmmmmmm...
Would be best if we got out while we still can...
But then again, not a lot words can do about it...
Slick Willie taught us about parsing words. These innocent sounding phrases and laws can rob us of our freedoms. And it is always for the children. Who can oppose that? No one, they hope.
They may aim to trump the 2nd, but they haven't the will nor the power to challenge an armed population. The Japanese feared this in 1941. It is best that the UN fear this in the 21st century.
Kissinger has often cited the technique for trumping the constitution.
Don't be so quick to dismiss this.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg regularly goes to conferences which support international harmonization of laws via treaties.

I don't care. Read the Constitution. It defines what treaties are, and they're not amendments or superior to the Constitution.

Hmmm. Fifty one dems, 6 RINOs and 10 FBI Files. Passed.
