Insurgent casualties are not known at this time.Vaporization makes it difficult to identify casualties.

The U.S. forces need to keep a closer eye on what is going on along these roads that our forces are using every day.
To lose troops because of ignorance about the enemies tactics is one thing, but when he continues to use these same tactics over and over it becomes stupid to say the least.
The people who live in those areas should be questioned.I'm sure they know who is planting these devices.

I like the word 'Obliterated'.
As in, He was hit by a precision air strike. The vehicle was destroyed and all the occupants were obliterated., referring to the recent Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Osmani hit.
Nice.

Um....pick a road. How many troops do you want to keep there watching for IED emplacers? Rather than say, kicking in doors of intel-sourced bad guys?
We have patrols that look for the IEDs and sweep the routes regularly. But there are a lot of roads, streets, avenues and alleys. They can lay one in and wait a week or a month for one of our patrols to go by and then detonate it.
We adjust our tactics continuously to keep pace with them as they change theirs. Those doors I mentioned kicking in? They often belong to IED emplacers.
Sorry, I got testy there defending the guys on patrol. I'm just sayin'...

Ya beat me to it.....
Needed to be said, because even our state side supporters buy in to the MSM message without knowing it sometimes.

sweet we got one carThey don't always use cars. Sometimes trucks have been modified so that the emplacers are screened from the air.
At any rate scratch one IED team. Must have been quite a show.

Pretty ambiguous. Heck a well aimed pistol round is a "precision munition".

civilian casualtiesSpeaking of 'civilian casualties'......In a war that ONLY the United States wears a UNIFORM, women & children don suicide bomb vests, walk into market places and press the button.........civilian casualties should only be reported as "SUSPECTED TERRORISTS"!
