I had no idea that Mr. Biden was such a military strategist.
Gosh, it sure must be difficult to know everything.
I wonder how he does it?

Sen. Joseph Biden (news, bio, voting record), the incoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said he will fight President Bush if the administration decides to send more U.S. troops to Iraq. And so it begins

I took the liberty of adding "sewersystems" to the keywords, feel free to use it for future Biden alerts...

I would like to know how he's going to fight since he isn't the Commander in Chief?

I thought that Biden was complaining for the last three years that we didn't provide enough troops to get the job done. Now that we are trying to address that problem, what is he complaining about now?

Wasn't he one of the screamers saying we didn't have enough troops? A person's head could spin off keeping track of all the backtracking the dems can pull off.

I loathe Biden- however- this is one issue I do agree with him on- listening to the ground commanders and soldiers- they have always believed that going light has always been the best policy in relations- bring in more troops and the citizens are just apt to see it as a threat and join in the terrorists activities to try to expell what they see as an occupying oppressive force
This really surprises me that biden would feel this way- after all- the left wants huge troops to prove how Pres. Bush didn't know what he was doing and didn't bring in enough forces to effectively deal with the situation http://sacredscoop.com

Bush is scrubbing his options in Iraq, after Republicans lost control of Congress in the Nov. 7 elections and an independent bipartisan panel determined Bush's plan was dangerously off track.Nice, completely fair, balanced and unbiased reporting by the AP.
Oh, did they (the AP) ever find Jamil Ghdaab Gulaim/Captain Jamil Hussein/Jamil Gholaiem Hussein?

Correct me if I am wrong here...but, in the first part of this article, Biden is not only telling Pres. Bush he doesn't like the idea of more troops...but, he wants to get the GOP to fight against Pres. Bush...and also hold hearings to DETERMINE what Pres. Bush should do, re: the war.
However, if you read the whole article, the last sentence says that this same loud-mouthed blowhard tells Pres. Bush during a Christmas Party...."This is YOUR war, Mr. President"..
Sooooooo..which is it Biden??? Please, Mr. Biden, surely you don't want it BOTH WAYS, do you??? hahahahahahaha
