"While his execution is good news, it will not bring back the life of a single American. And the accomplishments of the people of Iraq for the next thousand years are not worth the life of the least of the people we've lost there."
It won't bring back a single Iraqi murdered by this evil incarnate. But it will bring joy and further freedom to not only the Iraqis. There are so many Iraqis wanting to be the executioner that there is waiting list.
I hope they dip the rope in pig's blood, throw shoes at him as he is awaiting the drop, and have alot of dogs present...maybe they can urinate on his corpse. Also, I'd pick a woman to pull the lever or kick the stool!

Well, I will save a bottle of white and celebrate with you. I recently visited with a Vietnam vet who admitted to being still puzzled as to why the West gets involved in wars which have little to do with economics. I think the answer is here: that we have come to realize a moral responsibility beyond our boundaries even as we protect ourselves in exercising it. Our new understanding of international law demands an international sense of human rights.

You give credence to Ann Coulter's statement that liberalism is a mental disorder.
You are truly diseased.
And you will soon be gone from this forum.

"I seem to recall having read that Iraqi law stipulates that nobody over a certain age can be executed in Iraq and that Sadaam is within a few months of having attained that age."
Yes, and he will not attain that age in the next 30 days.

I hope someone gets it on CD and sells it. I and zillions of others will buy that CD to enjoy over beer and cocktails, while eating parts of pigs!

Unfortunately, no personal firearms/ammo are allowed in most cases.
I have an BUL M-5 (Sold in the US as the Charles Daily M-5). It is a 1911 with a poly-metal frame and a double stacked mag. Total capacity is 13+1. The mags are incredibly hard to come by but it is accurate as anything and tough as nails.
I also have a new Springfield 1911-A1 GI spec pistol. Picky eater with mags but very good otherwise.
Honestly though, if I have to make more than a few shots over 20 yrds, I'm going to grab the first AK I can.
