BOYNTON BEACH -- A mall packed with 20,000 people erupted in gunfire Sunday afternoon, scattering Christmas Eve shoppers and leaving one man dead.
Police have three suspects in custody.

Any bets on the RELIGION OF PIECES involvement?
Sounds more gang/drug related.
Oh goodness, that's one town over from us. Glad we went shopping in Boca today instead of Boynton! Probably was gang related. Lots of crime around here.

I'd like to say "I'll take the religion of peace for 100 Alex!" but since this mall is right up against I-95 (escape/getaway path..) I'm going to go with robbery , I'll even speculate that it involved armored car personnel as this is (I believe) the 2nd busiest shopping day of the year for malls...
As I posted on another thread, it is not a 'gang' area. I live in Boynton Beach, a few miles from the mall. I often shop there. Although the mall is in a good area, human garbage doesn't just sit around and fester, it also goes shopping.
I always carry my gun when I go to the malls around here, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Boca Raton, doesn't matter. Scum have cars, too.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, well . . .
The fact remains . . . when it comes to violence . . . the religion of pieces is . . . a screaming meemy leader at the head of the pack.
But then, the globalists seem to have co-opted the gangs and drug lords into their service, too.
But maybe this was just local hoodism.
Lots of bad areas interspersed throughout nice areas. I live in Delray. The news is often disturbing, but I feel safer in Boca than in much of Delray, and don't often head north to shop unless there's something I can't get closer to home.
BTW I think most areas are more and more like this nowadays. A former student of mine was murdered after being abducted from a parking lot at a Walmart in Tyler TX a few years ago. I'm sure she felt relatively safe too.
Oh, one more thing. I suspect you and I are both in more danger from the drivers around here than we are from the bad element! At least 3 people tried to kill us with their cars just today. ;)

More likely some gang-bangers having an argument
Nothing more than another "banger" day at the mall. We had one of these in our local mall last summer.
Just another reason I'm thankful I left South Florida behind me long ago.
I wish I could. But I would like to take the beach with me!

I work in Delray Beach, right by I-95. Parts of Delray are beautiful, just not that one. At some point I plan to petition the Delray Council to issue sidearms. :)
LOL
We love Delray, but the crime rate was a bit of a shocker to us lil' ol' small town Texans! My husband works in Boca, but we didn't want to live there. We are more Delray kinda people.

I grew up 2 blocks west of Federal Highway in Dania and yes, I miss the beach. I don't miss the crime and congestion down there.
I also miss hearing Southern Accents in Downtown Miami.
I see.
Welllllllllll, may they get their just due and be off the streets for a considerable time.
One can have a CHRISTmas wish!
You know, when we first were going to move here, I never dreamed my southern accent would be such a rarity...it is after all FLORIDA!
My first dog club meeting, I thought I was in New York with all of the yankee accents! Sometimes I can't even understand what they're saying....and they laugh at ME! ;)
