I am reminded of those historical sychophants to the National Socialists of Germant, Charles A. Lindbergh and Joseph Kennedy,both ignorant liberals who could not stand on the strength of fact and evidence, but went wool gathering into the presumed friendly arms of tyrants.Even today liberals are still trying to reconstruct them.
Like Kerry they were fools who too readily abandoned the basic American tenant that a human being, more than anything, longs for personal freedom. The human spirit thirsts for it and wilts without it.
