Some Columbia University students who disrupted a speech in October by Minuteman Project founder Jim Gilchrist with a wild protest could be expelled.
The school's President Lee Bollinger says the students are being charged with breaking the school's code of conduct, and they will meet with a dean who will decide their fate.
Bollinger also says protesters who do not attend Columbia are now banned from campus.
Gilchrist was forced to cut his speech short.

Wonder if anything will happen to the ones who pulled the fire alarm at a Tancredo event.

Never, ever, ever gonna happen. This is window dressing by the fake, phony Bollinger.

"Wonder if anything will happen to the ones who pulled the fire alarm at a Tancredo event." I searched the internet... it's a misdemeanor, felony, and federal crime depending on the circumstances.

Considering how much the parents pay, the students involved will just get a sanction
which means nothing in the overall scheme of things.

Even if they did expel the idiots I'm quite sure the ACLU would step in and try to put a stop to it. I can't even begin to imagine how many lawsuits would be filed by the parents of these brats.

They are going to meet with a dean, who will give them a "stern talking to". That will be the extent of the discipline against them. They will demonstrate to all on campus that "free speech on campus" is only for liberals.

Columbia is nothing but a whorehouse, and the clients have paid their money. They will not be expelled, guaranteed. They will have a nice little chat with the Dean and daddy's attorney, and all will be well.
To: 2dogjoe
Yeah right- they said they were going to do something before htis- then backed down- now they're on again? Waiting for the inevitable backtracking to commence http://sacredscoop.com
