Some of this I've posted on FR before. But maybe, just maybe, a few more people in the outside world will pay attention, now that D'Alesandro/Pelosi will be two heartbeats away from the Presidency.

"According to the official results from Florida, Republican Vern Buchanan, won the 13th Congressional District by 369 votes. But DAlesandro can use her power as Speaker to steal that election for the Democrats and install Christine Jennings as the winner and new Congresswoman. The Democrats did that in 1984 over a seat in Indiana. It would be in character for DAlesandro to do that in 2007."
Apparently so: "Pelosi may not seat winner in disputed Sarasota race"

Maybe FR needs to set up a witness protection program?

Easy on the "machine politics" charges. Daddy Pelosi actually *beat* the Curran political machine. But he wasn't the only one of the family embroiled in corruption charges. Nancy D'Alesandro (Pelosi's mom) was drug into court over $15,000 in checks written to her by a Baltimore contractor who was convicted of bribing city government while Tommy was Mayor: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,860626,00.html

Satan also thought he was in charge of EVERYTHING. You know were he is ending up, trying to get a rock to obey him in a fiery pit forever. Corruption is part of man's nature. It permeates our government in Washington, on both sides of the isle, our businesses, and even our churches. Its because that is the nature we were given because of the fall from our Divine state. Sounds just like the Devil. The big difference is we can be redeemed by the blood of Christ, and he cannot. Now you know why he is so upset. Because man is going to his position in Heaven, and all the angels that fell with him.
More good news is the Sheriff will soon be back in town, and He will "rule ALL nations with a rod of iron." If your hope is in man and not God, than you will have nothing but a life of futility in a sea of hopeless expectations, and dreams crushed by aging and death.
And that is my Christmas message to FR. Merry Christmas all, and always remember, your true life is in Christ's eternal salvation, not this 70-100 years of vanity and vexation.

She CAN refuse to seat the winner. But, it is NOT up to her to pick a substitute.

Tommy III was indicted for rape???? I never heard that. But moved to Baltimore in 1970 and it sounds like it happened before I got there.
Pray tell, who did he allegedly rape? Inquiring minds want to know! Seems like Tommy's kids had trouble of some kind but I cannot remember details.

I reread it,,Tommy III's brother was indicted. And hubby just reminded me Tommy III and Nancy's brother, don't know the name, was trouble in Vegas. Don't remember the details. Lots of unsavory connections.
And is the just departed AG a son of the old Curran machine. And his daughter is a judge, married to Martin O'Malley!
I think I have the pedigrees right.
