"The freedom of choice whether to smoke or not, regardless of the consequences, IS a matter of personal choice..."

Unfortunately the burden of providing medical care for such poor choices is increasingly falling on taxpayers. For that reason taxpayers are causing their lawmakers to restrain such activity. And, why shouldn't they?

Because it's been proven by studies that smokers pay for their own care through axtra taxes.
No anti wants you to hear that, but it's true.

Then we must start food rationing so the obese will be forced to lose weight. Want to know what medical costs are associated with obesity? Diabetes, hip replacements, knee replacements, heart problems.

Then outlaw the gay bath houses because many of the AIDS patients don't have insurance; ergo it falls on taxpayers to pay their costs.

Instead of coddling drug addicts and alcoholics, let's just throw them in jail with the dealers.

And let's limit the number of children born out of wedlock. Only one allowed. After that, mommy is thrown into jail (along with daddy), forced sterilizaation and child is put up for adoption. I am close to certain these bad choices cost as much or more to the taxpayer than smoking.

What most corrupt lawmakers AREN'T telling us is:  health care cost is rising due to the fact that we have to pay for so many illegals sucking on our health care facilities.

One illegal went to a Mass hospital.  When he was released, he left a bill of over $10,000 dollars!  Guess who pays for THAT???

So, in order to cover up the fact that immigrants are bleeding the health care dry, they are blaming the American obese and the American smokers.

Wise up!
