(Israeli) Cabinet to reconsider truce

Israeli Cabinet ministers urged Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to consider ending a truce that the Palestinians have failed to honor.

Israeli media reported that Olmert’s inner “Security Cabinet” would convene next week to consider the appeal, led by Defense Minister Amir Peretz. Palestinian terrorists have launched as many as 50 rockets into Israel since the truce was forged two weeks ago. Peretz’s hometown is Sderot, the southern Israeli town hardest hit by the rocket fire.

There exists a perpetual state of warfare between civilized nations of the West and Muslim terrorists. To think there can be "truces" is to live in fantasyland. The only question is where the terrorists attack, not whether they will do so.

50 rockets??? Why that's the second most holy way of mooseslimes upholding a peace treaty/cease fire agreement.

Roll over and hit the snooze button again after the next 50 or so./s

Lies. All blame rests on Israel's actions or inaction.

Jimmy Carter said so...

50 rockets into Israel since the truce was forged two weeks ago... With only 50 rockets, Olmert has to really ponder whether to call an end to the truce. Now, if it was REALLY ALOT of rockets, say 55 or 56, then there would be no question, obviously, to cancel the truce. Or maybe not...

Olmert has a knack to leave things hanging in midair.
There is his war adventure where he went unprepared, without even realizing what was going on, or better did go on in territory he adventured into to get his two lost soldiers back.
A hesitating back and forth, then retreat and now his peace offer not honored.
Sharon, your successor is urgently needed, this guy Olmert just fiddles and then comes running to Washington with his Secretary of State to tell G.W. about his weird ideas of negotiating with an international consortium.

News for Omert. When rockets are detonating in your yard, it is not peaceful. One would think even a brain dead liberal could figure that out.
