I have read the posts between you and 'Mrs Don-O' and I believe you are winning.

I believe she loves and supports our troops ... but she is just a bit misguided in their objective when it comes to WAR. The objective is to Kill the enemy! Kill them first before they Kill you! Kill them before they Kill your mother, father, wife, daughter, son ... before they even have an opportunity!

The enemy in WWII was Japan, in the Asian Theater. The Japanese believed their Emperor was God. They were going to die for their god! The whole population would have needed to be destroyed. If two atomic bombs were not dropped on two of their cities, destroying them including civilians and the war supporting infrastructure they lived around, I and many other Baby Boomers may not exist today. I am so glad I am here and my father survived WWII and Korea to create a family.
