NEW YORK - Three months into the Reign of Rosie, "The View" has become must-see TV. But is it the type of viewing that series creator Barbara Walters was bargaining for?
Rosie O'Donnell's inclusion in the daytime chat show's cast has boosted ratings but seemingly brought along a controversy du jour, the latest this week's verbal mudfight between O'Donnell and Donald Trump.
O'Donnell said she wasn't talking about it on Thursday's show but couldn't help herself, saying she was afraid to leave home the night before "in case somebody with a comb-over came and stole" partner Kelli from her. Trump took every opportunity to hurl insults in return.
Despite vacationing outside of the country, Walters issued a statement Thursday pleading for peace.
"Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to `The View' for many years," she said. "I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of `The View.' I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly."

She hateful, vile, full of resentment and paraniod... don't find those traits attractive. Don't tune her in--ever.
What comes out of her mouth is predictable and untrue.
Not interested.

Amazed to learn from the article that ROD is the show moderator. What's up with that?

I have never figured out what it is that Rosie has that is so marketable in TV. Not looks. She has a vicious tongue. She's so loud she can almost be heard over Mute. No brains, as in stupid. Queer and OUT. Hates Christians and I think Jews. Need I say more though more is certainly available. What has she got that she wields to draw the kind of money networks are willing to pay her.
Screech, screech, screech. I'm reduced to scratching my head.

I've always found Trump to be a blow hard and not worth much emotional capital. That said, it's entertaining when a lass that looks (and sounds) like a buffalo finds fault with the appearance of another.

If you like listening to nails on a chalkboard, watch The View. I don't understand how anybody can stand to even listen to the crap spewed on that show.

The lesbian Ahmadinejad strikes again.LOL.
If this culture of ours goes any more nuts, after these two are done barking at each other can you imagine some real ugly "make-up sex" at the end of this melodrama? LOL

Baba Wawa now has the female version of the Jerry Springer show. Rosie might get viewership up, but it sure is going to cost Baba her reputation, imho. I don't watch the view...never have. But Rosie is becoming a daily nightmare and ABC and Baba standing behind her outrageous behavior shows they are infact going for the Jerry Springer audience and reputation.

What's new about trying for ratings by starting fights? Olbermann's tries the same thing with O'Reilly repeatedly.

I give "The Don" credit for ripping Rosie a new one. She is and has always been a pile of dung. The other members of The View should consider if they want to sit at the table with such a vile moron.

Without money, Rosie would be a lonely lezbonot necessarily....she wouldnt have her halfway decent looking partner....her partner would then be some old, fat, dyke like herself to keep her company....

I really have nothing much to say against people who find themselves gay and try to keep their "gay influence" from children, but I really think that Rosie is one lesbian who down deep inside hates the fact that she is gay.
It's really a shame, because she is such an unpleasantly angry woman. And I remember when she first began her career, she was a pretty darn nice person.
She sure has changed.

I'm not sure exactly why, but just looking at her face makes me sad for America. I guess it's her essence, which is clearly seen by just looking at her. Her attitude, demeanor, personality, intent, and life choices are all seen in a glance. And the fact that she is admired by so many, is quite sad and disturbing to me.
