If he told the authorities something different, even though he got his slap on the wrist, can he be charged? I wonder....

Because the powerful protect the powerful.

Prove me wrong whenever you want.

" This should've come out 2 years ago"

Why?? This is just half of it. How can the repubs come down hard on Burgler, and then not expect the dems to come down hard on a repub. And there are many on both sides that need to be taken down. Corruption is corruption on BOTH sides. And there is just too damn much of it. It's gotta fricking STOP!!
I would bet anyone out there that the criminal activity in our government, as a per capita number, would EQUAL that number in the GENERAL population. Maybe MORE!!!

.....and said to authorities.....

Interesting take. The report on the discarded documents could have resulted from his come to Jesus confession rather than direct observation.

My take of Brit's report was that he was under direct observation.

Part of Ryan Sager's acute analysis of the government shutdown: Gingrich figured government shutdowns get blamed on presidents, not on Congress, because the last one had gotten blamed on Reagan. What he didn't realize was that government shutdowns get blamed on Republicans.

I'm going to dissent here..........

Though, Burger belongs in jail, that will never happen, we as a country has far greater issues that need to be addressed.

The intelligent part of the country knows what the Clinton crime family is all about.

We as conservatives have much larger looming issues than pointing out Burger, which is no surprise, a scum bag who works for the mob boss impeached ex president

The Clinton administration. The gift that keeps on giving.

But the cover-up of the extent of the crime was done by the Bush administration. The slap on the wrist, rather than the prison time Berger deserved, was done by the Bush administration.

Government corruption stinks no matter which party it's emanating from.

When I read the earlier reports, I did wonder who saw him and who reported on this.

I bet they caught a lot of it on surveillance tape.

Who then was protecting Nixon?

"I'll bet the pieces are in custody somewhere."

They were given to Bill and Hillary for safekeeping.

My take was that the shredded documents were not recovered by Berger leaving the open question of were they recovered by someone else?
