Warren and Schaeffer have problems, for sure....but not the same problems as Ted Haggard....

"We are continuing to look for another evangelical who is preaching about moral issues."
Right. And as long as the 'preacher' doesn't touch upon the wholesale slaughter of baby humans (aka abortion), they'll get along just fine.

A few months ago I got cornered by a raw foods - vegan freak from the "Hallelujah Diet" movement. I literally had to run away from the guy. The guy was the follower of a blithering heretical false teacher who says that a raw food diet is the only Biblical way to eat....

PETA veep Bruce Friedrich told me, "We were very disappointed that Pastor Ted pulled out. Hey Bruce, you might contact Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church.
Since Ted and Fred rhyme, maybe folks wouldn't notice the substitution.

it seems to be a 'tactic' of the left these days to try to woo-evangelical to their point of view through the thought "what would Jesus do"..it's just a distraction from traditional social issues..
...and I'm pretty sure Jesus wouldnt vacuum a child from its mother's womb...
beside I don't ever remeber Jesus refusing to eat meat in the Bible...
...or drink alcohol...

Jesus did drink wine, but he didn't abuse the use of it.

"Of all God's creatures, chickens and turkeys are the most abused..."
I could've sworn that honor went to the hetero, white male.....
Most commercially raised fryers are white males so I guess that answers it.

Haggard wanted to sell out to the animal rights activists, Shaeffer to who knows who, and Warren to Syria.
I wasn't even concerning myself with Haggard being a sinner, since we are all sinners.
To: cf_river_rat
Haggard had agreed to narrate the piece.
When I heard Haggard was going along with envirowhackos,
I couldn't help but wonder about the guy.
Now we all know...he was a wolf in sheep's clothing.
(even if there was some polyester)

Ted must have thought Christians were commanded to "Go forth and make animal rights activists and environmental crusaders"
He must have the Haight Asbury revised version of the Bible.

"Of all God's creatures, chickens and turkeys are the most abused," and "Confined to tiny stalls that don't even allow them to turn around for most of their pregnancy, the first time that mother pigs breathe God's fresh air is when they are on the back of a truck headed to a slaughterhouse."Sheesh!
