This project needs someone who is committed to thinking outside the box gospel the way Pastor Ted did.There. Fixed that one for them.
"Unfortunately, I just don't think this project will fit with what I'm jumping into."
Somewhat of an understatement, I believe.

Closet homo Haggard was seeking to steer the evangelicals into environmental and animal rights distractions.
Maybe because he was internally conflicted.
Jesus gave the Church a job - go make disciples. He didn't send us out to stop global warming etc.
Don't get distracted.

Haggard and PETA comes as no surprise. He is a freak with freaks.

I would imagine Ted knows a thing or two about sausages.

A male gay pastor thinking 'outside of the box'?
Somehow, there's a joke in there some where, but I just can't think of it.

WWJD....order a rib-eye, medium rare with a ceasar salad and baked potatoe, all the way. Top that off with a Sam Adams, vintage Dec. 2006.

Interesting. I've never known a PETA member who was also a follower of Christ. I'm sure there are a few. I just don't see the organization promoting true Christian values.

And this was the guy that the "evangelicals" were supposed to be following as some leader, and be upset about when he was "outed"?
He can join Rick Warren and Frankie Schaeffer.

Damn it, I knew that didn't look right! LOL!

it seems to be a 'tactic' of the left these days to try to woo-evangelical to their point of view through the thought "what would Jesus do"..it's just a distraction from traditional social issues..
beside I don't ever remeber Jesus refusing to eat meat in the Bible...

"We were very disappointed that Pastor Ted pulled out. This project needs someone who is committed to thinking outside the box the way Pastor Ted did. We are continuing to look for another evangelical who is preaching about moral issues."
Monumental hypocrisy isn't "thinking outside the box".
