That's great. And I truly am happy for you. I don't doubt for a moment that you know more about real estate than I do. Still, I am firmly convinced that the reason why real estate is falling is because it has gotten way out ahead of the fundamentals. This is a nationwide phenomenon and will not only negatively affect real estate, but will have a negative affect on the entire economy.

Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Economic growth in the U.S. cooled to the slowest pace this year in the third quarter, dragged down by the biggest decline in home building in 15 years.

You can tell from this chart that the smart money is not too concerned about the mortage business. The value of this mortgage income fund is right about where it was in August, 2005. I think the little blip downward in the last few weeks is primarily from profit-taking in the treasury bond market and in this closed-end fund.
