Oh, he knows, he knows. I'm guessing that what ever they have them doing is time consuming, and tiring. When he gets back to his room after working, he is probably only thinking of sleeping (maybe getting some food first).
You KNOW, as a healthy young American male, that he is getting food first! LOL!
