Dick Morris: I’m Leaving if Hillary Wins

Political strategist Dick Morris is so disgusted by the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency that he’s announced he’ll leave the country if she wins the Democratic nomination.

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s "Hannity & Colmes,” Morris – a former aide to President Bill Clinton – said that Bill and Hillary both suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder: "When they don’t get enough attention, they’re disordered.”

He also took a swipe at Hillary for re-releasing her book "It Takes a Village,” telling substitute host Karen Hanretty: "This seems to just reek of desperation on [Clinton’s] part . . . as a means to get herself out there.”

Morris dismissed Sen. Barack Obama’s chances of winning the presidency, saying he is the "best thing that’s ever happened to Hillary Clinton. Because he can’t win. You think about the guy for five minutes and you’re not gonna vote for him.”

However, Morris went on: "Obama’s in fact a better first than [Clinton] is. First black is better than first woman, in politics.”

Morris suggested that Hillary let Obama "float and then let him float away, like a balloon, probably running him for vice president on her ticket.

"I’m leaving the country if this happens.”

First of all, you have his name wrong:

It's Barack Hussein O'Dumbo.

Secondly, Morris MUST be joking about this, and simply poking fun at the myriads of liberals who have remained in this country, much to my chagrin, despite making a similar promise years ago.

Framing the issues in terms of "It Takes a Village" casts Hillary in a favorable light expecially if Bush is a factor in the election.

On the one hand we have Bush, the drunken, irresponsible father of drunken, irresponsible daughters. On the other hand we have Clinton the sober, responsible mother of a sober responsible daughter. Hillary plays well in this context. Even the shadow of Bill looming in the background works well, Hillary has shown she knows how to raise a responsible child, even with an irresponsible father.

Bringing out the book again reminds us all that she didn't just get into this game for the current election. She has been consistent for the past 10 years. This will contrast well with her Republican challengers' thumb-in-the-wind pandering to extremist fringe elements of the Republican party.

"Hillary let Obama "float and then let him float away, like a balloon, probably running him for vice president on her ticket."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again here: this is exactly what is going to happen!

Not sure where your comments come from--President Bush is not drunken, nor is he irresponsible. Why are you bringing his daughters into the discussion? They weren't part of the original article, nor are they public officials. Your comments make you souns like a Rat troll, and a mean, petty one at that. The article was about Dick Morris and Hillary Clinton. Stop trying to hijack a thread to spew hateful thoughts about our President.
