From The Daily Telegraph:
LARGE-sized clothing should carry tags with an obesity helpline number, a British Medical Journal report has said.
The report, compiled by a group of public health professionals, has recommended the phone numbers be placed on tags on womens garments sized 16 and above, and on those with a waist measurement of more than 100 centimetres for men.
This is an excellent idea, chubby women will be reminded they need help everytime they struggle to get into their designer jeans.
The large-sized jeans should also have a large sign in the rear end that reads: If you see me at McDonalds or Burger King please call 800-FAT-COPS to report me.
Plus-size apparel should also be equipped with a gizmo that beeps everytime the rotund person backs up.
Instead of a cool designer logo, clothes for big people should have a trademark depicting Rosie ODonnell munching on a hamburger.
And it wouldnt be a bad idea to make all clothing for the horizontally-challenged in red only. That way we would see them coming from a distance, and be prepared to give them a wide berth.
Finally, pants for the obese should be rigged to emit a farting noise whenever the overweight individual bends over.
Im just kidding. Im just trying to show what a ridiculous idea the British came up with. Stout persons arent children, they dont need clothing with a name tag, or with an obesity helpline number.
I think British Medical Journals should carry the number for the "Stop Pomposity" Hotline.

Only if DemocRAT voter registration cards come with a list of shrinks practicing in the voter's area.
none of us would call it anyway so its just a waste of money.
It would also be a good idea to put labels on some of the more popular inner city clothing, asking the wearer to not murder and rape people.
Maybe they should work on the state of their countrymen's teeth before they start picking on the obese.
i dunno what to say, the silly side of me wants the tag to say, "caution wide load". but,the serious side thinks, "this is just a retarded issue". lol
LOL
Fellas, they're saying any man with a waist measurement over 39.4 inches is considered obese; this is not, repeat NOT fair!
Hmmm, maybe playboy mags should come with bibles?
Maybe lottery tickets should come with a sermon about greed and ill gotten gains?
Ya think it would do something for a totally failed thyroid? You do know that the docs want to go by blood tests these days, and as long as they can get your levels into whatever their "book" says is "normal", they do not give a flying rip about how you feel, or your weight.
This is even if your weight was "normal" for almost half your life! And if you still feel crummy, even though your TSH test is "within normal range", well then, who gives a flying rip. for they have covered their bums, according to "modern medicine:.
Sorry to be so cynical. Family problems have got me down. T'is the season for those, you know?
Put the tag on the outside.
I went shopping for a bit yesterday. There were porked-up women all over the place.
They'd probably have a more deterent effect if the label said "fatass"
Is that a recent picture of Hillary?
How about warning labels on politicians. "Warning: This person may be lying whenever lips are moving. Believe at your own risk!"
One more proof that the Brits have too much time on their hands.
