Katie Couric admits that her new gig as anchor of the CBS Evening News has been "a little harder than I thought it would be."
"Some people out there are rooting for me to fail," Couric, 49, tells Esquire in its January issue. "You have to be unwavering in your convictions that you're doing something good, because there are a lot of circling vultures that will eat you alive."
Couric points out that Esquire itself criticized her after her Sept. 5 debut. "You guys even take a shot at me," she tells the magazine. "You have something in the November issue, something about how since I've become an anchor, you don't know me anymore. You don't know me anymore? Bite me."

Katie is a lib and we know she is, we just have to take it for what it is, and if we don't want to watch her, we don't have to watch her. She is much like Natalie Maines, they love to blame others who do not respect them, yet they don't like most of us Conservatives.
"I guess she found her sign-off line: Bite me!"
Priceless!
priceless!
"Bite me"? Honey, the American public has chewed you up and spit you out.
Katie, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. If you want to be insulated from the career effects of public criticism, go to work for PBS.
Bump
Two words: 1)Barbara 2)Walters
BTW, did you know that Walters dated Roy Cohn during her college years? Can you say, "No gaydar"?
Is there a photoshop of her face with a fashionable black "X" over it, of CNN fame?
Doing something "good?" I guess we know what Katie pours in her glasses . . . |
Suck it up, honey. That's life.
Golly! When something's really hard, I think about it and I usually get a clue....I think I'm getting a clue right now!
How about you?
My clue's pointing to the left! Let's go follow it!
She said: "Bite me."?!!!
How professional. /sarcasm
"Wonder if the irony will dawn on her the next time she criticizes Pres. Bush and his convictions."
Payback's a b!tch, isn't it, Katie?
"Bite me."
Guess she found her sign off line!
YES! We have a winner!
I remember an interview she did years ago. The interviewee refused to be driven into the little slaughter pen she had set up for him. As she chased him around this figurative barnyard her anger grew and grew. Toward the end it was obvious the woman was simply seething at this disobedience. No doubt the taste of shagged out, gristly, clueless cheerleader is, in a word, unappealing
When you look at her or listen to her, you can't take her seriously. Seriously.
Humorless liberal liars like Katie are without the slightest insight
Your skill set is clearly better utilized under the desk, instead of in front of it.
how perky, what a tramp
Funny how when a lib falls on hard times their true colors show through.
Is she so arrogant that she did not think this would be difficult?
I can't believe people are so mean. It's beyond me! What have I ever done to them?
Her years of ruining and smearing the reputations of others are coming right back at her.
A quote: "You have to be unwavering in your convictions that you're doing something good, even when you're not."
She is much like Natalie Maines, they love to blame others who do not respect them
Katie, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen
My goodness perky little Katie, you bit off a little more than you could chew.
She is pretty screwy looking, her mouth configuration has always distracted me.
Now if she would espouse conservative values and come on over to the other side, she would have inner beauty that would reflect on her physical appearance.
No matter how pretty or "perky" someone is, when they lie and deceive their face reflects their inner evil.
I think that vulture is picking on Katie bones already ROFL that funny Monk ROFL
Actually, vultures will eat anything that doesn't fight back.
