I'm not advocating you rethink your faith, only cease attacking science. Because if THAT crumbles you've NOTHING left???
(BTW - it's not SCIENCE that's being 'attacked' - but EVOLUTION)

That's true for now.
What if the creationists won, and the teaching of evolution was banned in US schools and universities (because surely that's their ultimate aim). Would the creationists slap each other on the back, congratulate themselves on a job well done and put their feet up?
Hardly.
There's that little matter of scientific evidence disproving Noah's flood rock formations, core samples etc etc.
Or how light from stars that takes thousands of years to reach the earth was seen in the first week of creation.
First they came for the Biologists, but I was not a Biologist so I wasn't concerned.
Then they came for the Geologists, but I was not a Geologist so I was not concerned.
Then they came for the Astronomers....

Science can never "crumble", because it is a method, not a particular set of beliefs. Evolution theory, or gravity theory, or any other component of modern understanding could fall, but the scientific method cannot.
