"Wearing Blinders" is the latest liberal disease, Mia. I'm convinced, after a weekend visit from a liberal Democrat cousin, they all wear a pair of 'em. Sigh.
Arizona,
We didn't have to read much extra beyond watching and listening to the daily news of Clinton scandal piled on top of scandal, death and mayhem during eight long years of the Clinton co-Presidency. From the moment Clinton left the first Inauguration Day parade to sign Presidential abortion directives in payment to the feminists for their support, it was downhill all the rest of the way to the very end. Just ask people like, say, Vince Foster, Ron Brown, Webb Hubbell (one of the few who debatably survived the Clinton debacle) and a host of others.
What a nice thing to say. Thank you, jla. :)
Not all liberals are infected.
My very liberal brother, for example, has never--and would never--vote for a clinton.
And last night on Hardball, I noticed that Matt Damon was pushing Obama--and pushing away hillary clinton... and when asked about 2008, De Niro mentioned Obama and only perfunctorily, embarrassingly, included clinton, having been put on the spot by Matthews.
And it was Obama, not clinton, who got the standing Os from the college audience.
Not a good sign for the clinton retread.
Mia, I would really suggest a condensed version of the clothing (gingham checks, Mao suit, pink suit plus whatever else you can find) as a separate posting, with just a little bit of commentary. A lot of people on dial-up can't load all of the pictures and supporting links because it takes so long, and I really think the visual impact of those different outfits paired with locations is immense.
We are on the same wavelength, Miss Marple. Something on the order of your suggestion is in the works. If I have a bit of time later, I may get the thing together and posted. Will ping you to it when it's up. ;)
On Alinsky (http://www.vcn.bc.ca/citizens-handbook/rules.html)
For Alinsky, organizing is the process of highlighting what is wrong and convincing people they can actually do something about it. The two are linked. If people feel they dont have the power to change a bad situation, they stop thinking about it.
According to Alinsky, the organizer especially a paid organizer from outside must first overcome suspicion and establish credibility. Next the organizer must begin the task of agitating: rubbing resentments, fanning hostilities, and searching out controversy. This is necessary to get people to participate. An organizer has to attack apathy and disturb the prevailing patterns of complacent community life where people have simply come to accept a bad situation. Alinsky would say, The first step in community organization is community disorganization.
THE 'MATERNALIZATION' OF HILLARY

That picture of The Beast with the "The Iraq" book in her hand, to me, captures her real countenance.
It does. Notice the empty stare, the flat affect. Symptomatic of her mental state. Will have more to say on that soon....
sorry, had to say it.
She just has 'that icy silence look'.
Bring back David Rupert when she actually had some HEAT in her life!
