I hung on with this back stabbing, inside the beltway game player longer than some here...and they were right, and I was wrong.
I sometimes fantasize that Alma Powell opposed her husband running for president because she knows he is unworthy, but that's probably just me being a pollyanna.

The problem is that Powell knows better. What he can do if he feels this way is call the president and let him know what his logic, thoughts, ideas and conclusions are about Iraq. To say these things publicly while the war is engaged shows us the real character of the man.
