I didn't hear one Republican talking about the senate makeup when Sen. Johnson went into the hospital. I DID hear numerous media people bringing it up, as well as questions to numerous Democrats.

Thanks,it truly is scary the way politics have evolved since the Clinton's came to power. It' become a stealth/bitterly fought power grab instead of the best candidate winning.

Newt is on some government committee with her heinous.

He thinks she's just brilliant.

Newt, once again, is incapable of seeing the forest for the trees.

Once he blamed the President for Katrina and then praised her heinous for her brilliance with regard to health care....I simply turned him off.

It really got seriously vicious when the Rats lost power, and they have mean, nasty,uncouth with seriously corrupt dispositions to begin with. The Rat leadership are particularly vicious and without scruples or ethics. The Republicans may seem spineless because they are not good "street fighters". We need to make deals, but we also need to be able to lay someone's a$$ out on the floor verbally when it is necessary. The DemoRATS do not respect decency and honor, they respect a boot in the butt like they should have received when they were young. They are spoiled brats that if they do not get everything they want they throw tantrums. This is our Country that we are fighting for, and decency and honor will not cut it with the Rats. Pubbies are in need of some time with clever,tough, take no prisoners, pragmatic strategists who will show them how to be winners against the whiners (Rats). Most Republicans do not want to fight, they just want to lead decent lives, be good Christians a and Jews, Raise their Children to be decent Citizens, Parents, and to be left alone. They should stay out of the Political Arena. They need to leave it to the Nice, but tough as nails Republicans to lead the Nation.

I think the thing which has made everything so poisonous is the personal element of the attacks. It's not enough to disagree with policy...the Rats have to destroy a person's reputation. Looking at how they have attacked President Bush and others, it is impossible to overcome those types of statements in order to have any sort of bipartisanship.

When people make fun of your wife and daighters, they are pretty much announcing that they aren't going to do anything unless they get their way.

Harry Reid is on with Steffie. He is making me sick. He will not answer the question whether Tim Johnson is conscious. Says he's not a doctor. Do you have to be a doctor to know if someone is concious.

Good morning All.

John Mueller and his leftist ilk are really frightening. They make me wonder just WHAT they think is worth fighting for to defend. Rod, I wonder how many 9/11's are necessary to focus their attention from unconnected "annoyances" (to be "solved" via law enforcement methods) to genuine connected terrorism.

"Connect the dots" appears to have been a convenient but forgotten term used by the left as a temporary expedient. Everything the left writes or says has that "Kitty Dukakis moment" ring to it.
