Federal charges of violation of the players' civil rights and consprircy may be pretty good to hang this bastard out to dry.
In thinking of several cases in the past few years where prosecutors have apparently decided to completely disregard ethics, justice, and the entire mission of their office in favor of pursuing their own ego-driven agendas, it seems that stiffer penalties for this kind of behavior may be in order. A self-serving prosecutor cannot be countenanced, much less coddled.
