Barack HUSSEIN Obama doesn't have a chance - besides his name 'problem', his ears are too big for his goofy head.
If anything, he looks like Mr Potato Head. And he'd only get the Dumbo© Disney vote.

Ok, I have the misfortune of having Dumbo as one of the Senators of my state. His voting record his borderline Marxist and his rhetoric naive and superficial. This dude never held a job in the private sector or was involved with managing businesses or people. He is absolutely unfit to lead and rule. He might be a good inspirational speaker... but that's about it.

Liberal Senators do not exactly have a great track record of winning the white house.
Both successful democrat candidates in modern history have been southern Governors.

Time and again this past election the voters showed that they preferred an empty suit to a seasoned, experienced, knowledgable conservative Republican. That's why we can't ignore Osama Obama.

All this superhype about Obama I think is being setup by Her Heinousness. She knows he's a threat, so let the media exhaust themselves, and everybody else, on him now so that come this time next year, we're sick of him.

And the third, who was a senator, probably didn't win the election (his opponent's victory resting at the bottom of Lake Michigan).

Barack Hussein Obama has reached his ceiling. There's nothing more to him than a big smile, superficial good-feeling words and his Will Smith ears. He is a well meaning nice guy... but so are most of us.

While Oprah and the big thinkers at the Huffington Post and Daily Kos go on about the junior senator from Illinois, others point out that less than two years into his first term as a U.S. officeholder, Obama doesn't have much to show. No legislative triumphs that offer a glimpse into how he would lead, no defining efforts of statecraft that reveal the core of his character. The real power in Texas when Bush was governor was with the LG and the Speaker of the House, too. That really wasn't important. What was important was Bush's platform and that is what Obama will be judged on. Will voters choose a liberal platform with shiny baubles attached to it? We'll see. No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.

Empty suit.
IMHO, this is the next "test" to see if the NEA has sufficiently dumbed down the American people.
If the Drive-by Media can convince them that Osama Obama is the "next great thing," they will know they've succeeded.
Sad.

It seems to me the 2008 Presidential election is going to be based on the construct of "American Idol".
This is going to be the slickest, sound-bytiest, substance devoidiest campaign in the history of American politics.
Amazingly, Maureen Dowd may have provided as much ammunition against him as necessary with the "giant" ears, Mr. Sensitive episode. How can this guy go up against thugs like Putin when he has to dress down a woman in public for making fun of his ears?

What annoys me the most about Obama is the dissonance between his rhetoric and voting record. His voting record received an F from the National Taxpayers Union, but his rhetoric hardly reflects his statis and collectivist views. His sales pitch is "hope" and "optimism" which are nice catch phrases, but in his case absolutely superficial.
