Let's see: he's a black kid being raised by white grandparents and he wants us to think the other kids teased him about his ears. Sure. A born politician.What I don't get is that if he is so sensitive about his jughead ears why doesn't he just get a bit of plastic surgery and have them pinned-back? It's a fairly simple operation, and not that expensive.
Obviously he's not THAT sensitive about them.

I'm pretty sensitive about having 10 toes which is why I cover the up with shoes in public most of the time.

Actually, wearing his hair a little longer would fill in some of that space and make the ears less noticeable. And that wouldn't cost anything.
