EVERYONE who laughed when the elfin Dennis Kucinich threw his hat in the ring to run for president in 2004 should realize why he smiles.
He had 2,955,963 reasons to smile. That is how many bucks federal taxpayers gave his ridiculous campaign for president.
Kucinich had no chance.
Yet under the bizarre federal election rules, taxpayers had to give this fool $2,955,963 just to humor his vanity.
Ralph Nader took $798,827 from taxpayers in 2004 to indulge his fantasy of being elected president. Consumers beware. I look for this demagogue to run again.
Lyndon LaRouche is another likely candidate. Last time, he squeezed $1,456,019 from taxpayers.
In 2000, Pat Buchanan hit the jackpot, drawing $16,635,624 in federal matching funds. He drew just 0.4 percent of the popular vote.
That is a lot of money to spend on hotels and to pay your sister to be your campaign manager and the like.

Check no on that tax box and lobby to repeal the current law.
"Money For War, Not Peaceniks"
According to the story, he is an anti-capitalist, populist demogogue, and his brother is a bank-robber.
It runs in the family.
I get a headache when I think of all the taxpayer dollars that go to useless crap like this. This country is going to eventually go bankrupt when they don't have enough taxpayers to support the gluttonous government.
I'm afraid I'll see it in my lifetime.
Exactly why Al Sharpton ran for President. And the MSM whores go along with the game to ensure many dollars flow towards the charlatans, traitors, and idiots.
That's why I always check the NO, box on the income tax return.
It's a mystery to me why anyone would think it's a good idea to give tax money to any candidate.
"This country is going to eventually go bankrupt"............
There was an article posted here yesterday I believe that said the Federal government is about 50 or 60 TRILLION dollars in debt right now. I don't think we're going to go bankrupt, I think we've been there for a loooooooong time !!!
Definitely check no on that tax box! We always have.
This is ridiculous.
In fact, I wish we could have an a la carte feature on our income tax forms that we could check off where we want our tax money to go.
The Senate is just a way to enrich yourself beyond your lawyer days.
"You too? Say it isn't so, Dennis!"
"I fully expect to win because when the American people hear this clarion call for a new and a true direction....they will demand a leader who will make it happen," said Dennis Kucinich, as he announced that he's running for president.
BWAAA-HAHAHA!!!
