Nord, Mr. K put an update in #242. PLEASE get the Dose praying....thank you.
From Mr. Kayak - As I prepare to return to Kay's side this morning, I take comfort in seeing her army of prayer warriors on FR. Please continue as we do indeed stand in the need of prayer.
As you know from our daughter's updates throughout yesterday, Kay came through the surgery just fine and looks and sounds good - no complications.
The surgeon removed most of the cancer and all of the leision that it caused. He had to leave a small amount in there to be attacked by radiation because of it's proximity to some large blood vessels. We would have preferred a total and complete excision, but we'll take this in lieu of brain damage.
We trust in the hand of our Lord in this and in the skill he has given our physicians. We both believe good will come of this regardless of the outcome and we remain optimistic about Kay's recovery.
Our children have been marvelous through this process and we are so blessed. Kay's friends and our other family have likewise been wonderfully supportive. Praise God for good friends, family, and fellow Christians.
Hopefully Kay will return to a standard room today - we'll let you know as soon as possible after that happens.
Thanks to you all.
