As I posted at the end of the old thread:

This is what we have been saying here for a long time. Now that lab and certainly that person is useless in court cases. They have been shown to violate policy and to color results to satisfy clients.

Defense or prosecution attorneys will pound them with this every time they ever go into court? I wonder if they are publically traded and I can run out and short their stock?

Again as we have said here over and over, Nifong is doing great damage to the judical system in NC and beyond. And it has now spilled over to private firms associated with this judicial system. Why the governor or AG can not see this and won't act is beyond me?

Depending on how the lab handles this, they may be out of business soon.

I hate pdf's, but I took the time to view this one on the Defendant's Motion.

Page 10, Footnote #37 "DNA Security elected ...."

That roaring sound is Dr. Meehan's career going down the toilet. He'll never be able to testify in any case, short of a traffic ticket - ever.

The Defense Bar loves a good 'ho, but they have to have some, even a tiny bit of credibility. No legitimate law enforcement agency would ever retain him now.

Sounds like he wanted to take a bite of the big apple, as he was willing to 'work' with Nifong on the costs. Major clue, he knew what his value was and was willing to discount it?

This guy blew it.

I wonder if they (DNA Security) are publically traded and I can run out and short their stock?

I have been barking up that tree a bit myself. Their website states that they are a subsidiary of American Media International, an LLC.

American Media International, LLC.
2609 Tucker St. Extension
Burlington, NC 27215

AMI appears to be involved in the production, duplication and distribution of various types of communicative media. From AMI's webpage (http://www.ami-media.com/amiindex.html):

"Our scope of services range from creative inception to final distribution of any CD, CD-ROM, floppy diskette, audio or video cassette, and all elements in between."

THEIR MISSION STATEMENT OMITTED ONE IMPORTANT CREDIT: THAT THEY ARE WILLING AND CAPABLE OF MANUFACTURING ANY EVIDENCE THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR!

Unfortunately, they are a privately held company. Otherwise, I'd be short several round lots myself.

Feel free to contact them at 800 849 3223, and be sure to ask for Richard Clark!
