A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

No, I think that he may be up to his eyeballs in the Tweakfonging and the Delayfoning, and is the person most likely of the 4 to spill the beans on the other 3.
You are, of course, assuming that Meehan is not involved in the conspiracy. Perhaps Meehan was supposed to compromise the evidence?

I cannot understand why Gottlieb would have done this? Was he so easily persuaded by this woman's overdramatic discomfort with "sitting" (due to injuries)? Or was he a loyal Nifong supporter feeding testimony to the supposed victim?

Let's not forget...DNA from "multiple males" = FIVE men.

Thanks for the ping!
Wouldn't you just LOVE to see Wendy Murphy and Nancy Grace questioned about this on TV? Remember how Murphy was spreading the rumor every night that the Duke players' sperm was all over a bathroom towel after they raped her?

Geeminycrickets. Nifong thinks the Duke Boy's Doppelgangers did it? Some sort of "white haunting" and that's why there's no solid evidence. That man needs some serious spooking.

Dr. Meehan indicated that DNA Security would be willing to work with the state on pricing because they would "really like to be involved in [the] case..."link to motion

Nancy's busy with the Oregan missing skiers tonight; I doubt she'll have time to cover this.

Gottlie basically works for the DA. The police want the DA to follow up on cases they make. So with the DA pushing this case Gottlie went along.
In addition to looking at Nifong's old cases, one must ask is how often in the past has Gottlie done shady things to convict someone. This is openning up can of worms after can of worms.
