A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

Black Panthers? :>
John Gibson said the Judge ordered paternity test and Nifong said baby is not due til Feb.
The court already granted a motion for paternity testing.
We know she was still stripping (and most likely still hooking), and still drinking and drugging as of two weeks after the party. I truly believe that only God knows who the father is.
Then she knows who the handlers are.
The only thing being different is the color of the victim. Beats me how folks can turn around and perpetrate the same thing they accuse others of doing. It was wrong then and it's just as wrong now.
I wonder if she was in jail part of that time, or has a jail sentence hanging over her for violation of probation. It doesn't seem likely to me that Mangum would cut off all contact with her family voluntarily. She also didn't go into hiding right away and had already moved to Charlotte, hadn't she?
Gibson should be ashame of putting that disgusting Weil on his show.
Pregnancy doesn't get you out of jail.
I think she was still on the streets for quite awhile when the case went public. She didn't disappear for a couple months.
If they supposedly all raped her, and she names the three of them, they can demand genetic testing.
What's interesting to remember is that Liefong's buddy, Meehan, has their DNA profiles and most likely Mangum's. He could do the genetic testing anytime Mangum requests it and submits the baby for sampling, if there is a baby. Remember, we only have Jakki's claim about the pregnancy and she won't say what her source of that information is.
Lis Wiehl is taking the position that the process would be fair there. I am arguing if the process was fair this would have been dismissed earlier.
Yeah, people forget the timing in this case.
She got out of Duke hospital, the morning after, took her beating for not having her pimp's money, he took her to UNC hospital trying to recoup a bit of the loss by getting some pills based on the rape claim.
These are just simple low-lifes. They did not know the pot bangers would make their noise. They did not know that Nifong would see this as his ticket to election.
She was in circulation behaving as she normally would for weeks maybe more than a month. Nifong had to get her off the street before she ruined his election chances.
Liefong would never be able to introduce the existence of the baby as evidence without paternity testing. Meehan's lab that has the boys' DNA profiles is now tainted, so the defense could certainly hire their own testing from another lab. Further, if Liefong wanted to use the existence of the baby as EVIDENCE, he could use SBI. If there is a baby, I will venture that testing is going on now or is about to start. It used to be that six months had to pass before a baby could be tested, but those days are gone. They should be able to test now or very soon, again assuming there is a baby.
NOte: Hannity was supposed to be on vacation starting after his show this afternoon, but since the new stuff this week about the Duke Lax he is going to be on H&C tonight.
Jezebelle is a few posts behind (583)....
BTW, nice job out there today!! :)
Well Meadows on CTV, quoted Nifong on the is there really a baby issue, said he was an officer of the court and then began backing off and said that should could confidently report Nifong said there was a baby in open court. So Meadows is no longer willing to believe Nifong even on this point in open court, AS ALL THE PRESS SHOULD.
